For correct installation of MaxiPro fittings, a suitable crimping tool with certified MaxiPro jaws is necessary. These jaws are specially shaped for the MaxiPro 3-point crimping profile. This ensures that the fitting is deformed in a controlled manner and the O-ring is subjected to the correct pressure.
The crimping tool provides the necessary force and ensures that each crimp has the same quality, regardless of the installer. This prevents differences between connections and reduces the risk of micro-leakage or deformation of the pipe.
